Kagiso Ngati is a versatile full-stack software development consultant and successful entrepreneur, with extensive experience in both the tech and entertainment industries. His journey began in 2007 as a DJ, which he transformed into a business named Peacewise Entertainment in 2009. While building his entertainment career, Kagiso also pursued academic excellence, earning a Diploma in Programming from College Campus in 2009 and a National Diploma from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2017.
In 2011, Kagiso transitioned into the tech world, volunteering as a .NET software developer. His growing expertise led him to found Calus Projects in 2014, a business focused on sound system hire, co-founded with his brothers. As demand for tech solutions surged, Kagiso established Calus Technologies in 2017, offering web development services that grew in popularity.
Through his work with Calus Technologies, Kagiso became deeply interested in photography, inspired by professional photographer and cinematographer Itumeleng Jigga, who provided guidance on media business operations and equipment. As Kagiso's interest and skills in photography grew, he collaborated with other photographers, including Phillip Moteane from Digi Clear Concepts, Kealeboga Chaka, Boipelo Mathope, and Kamogelo Mokale, further expanding his capabilities. In response to rising client demand for professional photography services, Kagiso branched into media and founded Calus Media (now trading as Ramothuti Solutions) in 2021 to distinguish his IT business from his photography ventures.
